Spoon / Plop Swirl - Regular Entry
This was fun. What a great way to pick color combinations that pop! Of course, I did several tries of this before I picked the one I liked the most. First try below…colors were not my favorite. Also, I think this technique benefits from a slightly larger mold.
First Attempt
The second try I tried different colors; I think white is a great addition to all color combinations and I went for a larger mold. I wanted to go for the advanced category but in the end, I think the mica gold lines didn’t pop at all, so I ended up using this as a regular entry…but I hadn’t decided this just yet. One more try was in order.
Second Attempt
Third try was the not the final one. The colors I used were natural for the most part. I used honey and cocoa to color the soap, with the addition of titanium dioxide and a bit of activated charcoal. This was unscented to capitalize on the honey and natural smell.
