Marbled Soap - Regular Entry

I was in a big rush this month and threw something together just to do something. I have to say though, that this technique is really growing on me. When I first cut my soap, I thought it was so ugly, but after some cleaning and planing, I’m beginning to enjoy their look.

Lessons learned this month? Basically, you can use just about any technique to create a marbled effect and that is really fun. Planning for this is a bit difficult since it might be hard to decide on what to do because even randomness requires…preparation? Another lesson learned is that the mica in oil is a bit tricky because if you use it too much, you’ll have your soap oozing mica oil and it might make your soap difficult to use or sell, and it can stain.

This month, only one try. Will try different techniques for this later.
